Job summary

Rimkus, a leading engineering and forensics firm, seeks a Business Development Manager to grow our local client base in the Phoenix area. You will promote Rimkus services to corporate, municipal, and building-owner clients, building relationships and driving revenue.

You will manage a defined sales territory, pursue new opportunities, and coordinate with operations to match client needs with expert services.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional-level experience in consultative sales or related areas.
• Experience with building engineering, roofing, or construction industries.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes sales strategies to maximize market potential and client satisfaction.
• Identifies prospective clients and develops new relationships by leveraging resources.
• Sells Rimkus services to corporate, municipal, and building-owner clients to secure new accounts and repeat business.
• Maintains relationships with current clients and promotes value-added services.
• Plans and conducts targeted in-person client contacts each week; follows up to close opportunities.
• Keeps CRM updated with contacts, activities, leads and opportunities in real time.
• Supports preparation of RFPs and coordinates with operations to provide qualified experts.
• Travels locally to meet clients and attend industry events as needed.
