Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group in the United States seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager to promote our engineering and forensics services within a defined sales territory. You will build a solid client base, pursue new opportunities, and maintain relationships with existing clients while coordinating with operations to deliver expert services.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business and 7+ years of consultative sales experience in the building/engineering sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or related field.
• 7+ years of professional-level experience in consultative sales or account management.
• Experience with building engineering, roofing, or construction industries.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develops a solid client base through direct or indirect contact and prospecting.
• Sells Rimkus services to corporate, commercial, municipalities, and developers to secure new accounts.
• Maintains relationships with current clients and promotes value-added services for future business.
• Plans and executes weekly value-added in-person client contacts to grow market share.
• Keeps CRM updated with contacts, activities, leads, and opportunities in real time.
• Supports coordination with operations to provide qualified experts for consideration.
• Attends industry events and client functions to promote services; may require overtime and travel.
• Assists in timely collection of client receivables.
