Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Engagement Manager II to own customer success, guide architecture decisions, and lead large technical programs for top retailers and brands. The role requires strategic thinking, program management, and collaboration with sales and pre-sales to expand service use.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in a customer-facing role, deep web performance and security knowledge, and the ability to manage remote teams within a flexible, hybrid work environment.

Qualificações

• Have 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role and an understanding of the consulting process to ensure customer success.
• Have experience managing and delivering large technical programs successfully.
• Be knowledgeable on compute technologies and architecture principles with basic knowledge and skills to design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems.
• Be familiar with information security fundamentals, common threats and vulnerabilities, as well as the tools and methods used to protect data, applications, and infrastructure.
• Be a team player with an ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Be knowledgeable on Devops, web performance, and core internet technologies such as DNS, TLS, and HTTP.

Responsabilidades

• Own customer success and be the trusted advisor to help customers achieve outcomes using Akamai solutions.
• Perform research and assessments to identify trends and guide customer architecture and adoption decisions.
• Architect and manage web performance, cloud computing and security solutions.
• Define account strategy, establish key relationships, and build and maintain a project pipeline.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering empowerment, collaboration and excellence.
• Partner with sales and pre-sales to expand the use of services and solutions.
