Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Engagement Manager II to drive customer success for major retailers and enterprises.

You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding architecture and adoption of Akamai solutions while coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes. You will collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales, manage large technical programs, and lead initiatives across DevOps, web performance, and security domains, including DNS, TLS, and HTTP technologies.

Qualifications

• Have 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role and an understanding of the consulting process to ensure customer success.
• Experience managing and delivering large technical programs.
• Knowledgeable on Devops, web performance, and core internet technologies (DNS, TLS, HTTP).
• Knowledgeable on information security fundamentals and protect data, apps, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own customer success and be the trusted advisor helping customers achieve desired outcomes with Akamai solutions.
• Perform research and assessments to identify trends and influence architecture/adoption decisions.
• Architect and manage web performance, cloud computing, and security solutions.
• Define account strategy, establish relationships, and build a project pipeline.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team and foster empowerment and collaboration.
• Partner with sales and pre-sales to expand services and solutions.
