Job summary

Akamai is seeking an Engagement Manager II to drive customer success for major retailers and enterprises. You will own customer outcomes, guide architecture decisions, and lead cross-functional programs from concept to implementation.

You will partner with sales and pre-sales, mentor teams, and shape the delivery of web performance, cloud, and security solutions to maximize value and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role and understanding of the consulting process to ensure customer success.
• Experience managing and delivering large technical programs successfully.
• Knowledge of DevOps, web performance, and core internet technologies such as DNS, TLS and HTTP.

Responsibilities

• Own customer success and be the trusted advisor helping customers achieve outcomes using Akamai solutions.
• Perform research and assessments to identify trends and influence architecture and adoption decisions.
• Architect and manage web performance, cloud computing, and security solutions.
• Define an account strategy, establish relationships, and manage a project pipeline.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team and collaborate with sales and pre-sales to expand services.

Education

Bachelor's in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent
