Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Employee Relations Partner to deliver consistent ER consultation to managers and employees. The role conducts investigations, interprets policies, and advises on disciplinary actions and termination procedures.

The position partners with Operations, Legal, and HRBPs to resolve complex ER issues, monitor trends, and reduce legal risk. Travel to sites within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, organizational management, law, or equivalent; or 4+ years of required experience.
• Five or more years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite; intermediate.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations with plans and neutral, timely execution.
• Oversee administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex case systems.
• Provide policy interpretation to supervisors on conflict resolutions, discipline, and termination procedures.
• Collaborate with Operational Management, Labor Relations, Legal, and HRBPs to resolve complex ER situations.
• Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management and compliance.
