Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to provide consistent, tactical HR guidance to managers and employees. The role includes conducting investigations, interpreting policies, coordinating with Legal and HR teams, and supporting compliance across the organization.

You will monitor ER trends, aid operations, and help manage disciplinary actions, terminations, and communications while traveling up to 10% to supported sites within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four (4) years of required experience.
• Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate, Required
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Intermediate, Required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans, conducting fair, neutral, and timely investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures and federal/state regulations.
• Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex case management systems.
• Manage employee relations matters by providing supervisors and managers with policy interpretation regarding conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management/Business HR/ Labor Relations/Legal Teams and other SMEs to create solutions to complex Employee Relations situations.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality Human Resources support for the company through performance management, mitigating risk in legal compliance, administration of relevant clauses/provisions within union Collective Bargaining Agreements (as applicable), employee communication, and collaboration with COEs.
