Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical ER consultation to Managers and Employees, conduct investigations, and advise on disciplinary actions and termination in compliance with policies and regulations.

The role analyzes data to monitor ER trends and collaborates with Operations Management, HRBPs, and Legal to minimize legal risk while ensuring proactive resolution and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four years of required experience.
• Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations, Required
• Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate, Required
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Intermediate, Required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans and conducting fair, neutral investigations.
• Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within case management systems.
• Provide policy interpretation regarding conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Collaborate with Legal and Labor Relations and other SMEs to create solutions to complex Employee Relations situations.
