Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical HR consultation to managers and employees, conduct investigations, and guide on disciplinary actions and terminations.

The role supports compliance with laws and company policies and focuses on proactive trends analysis to reduce legal risk. The position works with COEs, Labor Relations, and Legal teams to resolve complex situations, ensuring accurate data interpretation and professional stakeholder relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four years of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans.
• Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex case management systems.
• Provide policy interpretation regarding conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management/Business HR/Labor Relations/Legal to resolve complex Employee Relations situations.
• Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management and compliance with applicable clauses within union agreements.
