Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to advise managers and employees on investigations, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures. You will analyze data to monitor ER trends and provide guidance to minimize legal liability.

Responsibilities include investigations, policy interpretation, and collaboration with Legal, Labor Relations and HR Partners to develop proactive solutions. Travel to company sites within the supported region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four (4) years of required experience.
• Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (intermediate).
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (intermediate).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans and conducting fair, neutral, timely investigations.
• Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex case management systems.
• Provide supervisors and managers with policy interpretation regarding conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management, Business HR, Labor Relations, Legal Teams and other SMEs to create solutions to complex Employee Relations situations.
• Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management, legal compliance, union contracts where applicable, and collaboration with COEs.
