Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Employee Relations Partner to deliver consistent ER consultation to managers and employees, investigate concerns, and advise on disciplinary actions and terminations. You will interpret policies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and monitor ER trends to guide proactive risk management.

Responsibilities include leading investigations, guiding supervisors, maintaining compliance with laws, and supporting COEs. Occasional travel to sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or additional four years of required experience.
• Five years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; intermediate
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations with neutral, timely handling.
• Oversee case management in ServiceNow and Navex systems.
• Provide policy interpretation to managers on conflict resolution, discipline, and termination.
• Collaborate with Legal, Labor Relations and HR SMEs to resolve complex ER situations.
• Support performance management and legal compliance.
• Travel to company sites as needed
