Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner in the United States to provide tactical ER guidance to managers and employees, conduct investigations, and advise on disciplinary actions and termination while ensuring policy and legal compliance.

The role partners with Legal, Labor Relations, and COEs to resolve complex ER issues, analyze trends, and minimize legal exposure in a fast-paced environment. Travel 0–10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR/organizational management, law or equivalent major, or 4 years of required experience.
• Five+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations with plans and neutral conclusions.
• Provide policy interpretation regarding conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management/Business HR/Labor Relations/Legal teams to craft solutions to complex Employee Relations situations.
• Deliver high-quality HR support across performance management, legal compliance risk mitigation, and union clauses when applicable.
• Travel 0-10% to company sites as needed.
