Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead proactive and reactive initiatives across field operations, partnering with HR, safety, legal and managers. The role focuses on improving employee experience, while managing crisis situations with strong judgment and communication skills.

The position requires up to 50% travel domestically and on-site presence at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law experience.
• Experience supporting large hourly workforces.
• Experience analyzing and using metrics to identify improvements in employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Detect and Mitigate Risks: identify trends, gaps and challenges; implement strategies to mitigate risks.
• Crisis Management: respond to crisis-oriented partner issues under time constraints.
• Project Management: own large-scale, network-wide projects delivered on time.
• Analyze and Interpret Data: use data and anecdotes to develop persuasive narratives and recommendations; measure success.
• AI: use AI tools to analyze data, automate tasks, and improve processes.
• Communicate Effectively: produce high-quality written communications and deliver engaging training sessions.
• Collaborate: build relationships with stakeholders to influence change.
• Problem Solve: work independently in ambiguous situations to drive resolutions.
• Work at Scale: launch and manage mechanisms for entire networks.
• Hire & Develop the Best: mentor and grow field employee relations team.
