Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Employee Relations Manager for North America to lead proactive programs and crisis responses across field operations. You will partner with field leaders, HR, safety, and legal to shape equitable employee relations practices and deliver training that drives positive workplace outcomes.

The role demands strong project management, data analysis, and communication skills, with travel up to 50% and on-site presence at least three days weekly.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
• Experience supporting large hourly workforces.
• Experience analyzing and using metrics to identify improvements in employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Detect and mitigate risks by applying employee relations expertise.
• Crisis management for reactive partner issues under time constraints.
• Own large-scale, network-wide projects delivered on time.
• Analyze data and anecdotes to develop persuasive narratives and recommendations.
• Use AI tools to analyze data, automate tasks, and improve processes.
• Communicate high-quality written analyses and deliver engaging trainings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to influence change.
• Problem solve independently in ambiguous situations to drive resolutions.
• Scale operations by launching sustainable network-wide mechanisms.
• Support development and growth of field employee relations team.
