Job summary

Kroger is seeking an e-Commerce Operations Manager to oversee daily store online shopping activities and drive sales growth. You will hire, train, and develop staff while ensuring fast, accurate order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction.

You will manage scheduling, inventory, and process improvements, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and company policies. This role requires strong leadership in a fast-paced environment and a focus on safety and service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Proven supervisory experience is required.
• Experience in the selection and hiring process is preferred.
• Strong organization skills are required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds several times per day.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the store's e-Commerce department to meet sales goals and budgets.
• Staff the department and develop associates to achieve results.
• Ensure the e-Commerce department meets customer expectations for shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Interview, select and hire candidates to staff the online shopping department.
• Plan product flow and create schedules according to guidelines.
• Lead the team in planning and executing e-Commerce initiatives.
• Achieve sales, wage budgets, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Ensure compliance with laws and food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Train associates on order selector and customer attendant roles.
• Monitor inventory issues and report to department heads promptly.
• Troubleshoot equipment and devices in the e-Commerce department.
