Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store e-Commerce operations to hit sales objectives and budgets.
• Staff the department and develop associates to achieve results.
• Demonstrate Kroger's values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
• Ensure e-Commerce meets customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Create schedules based on product flow and guidelines.
• Certify associates once goals are met or exceeded.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and food safety procedures.
• Train associates on order selector and customer attendant roles.
• Lead planning and execution of e-Commerce initiatives.
• Aim to meet or exceed weekly, period, and annual sales and wage budgets with customer satisfaction driving repeat sales.
• Assist in analyzing competitive landscape and respond accordingly.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of orders with requested or comparable substitutes.
• Use best practices for substitutions when items are out of stock.
• Streamline collection of orders, products, checkouts and delivery.
• Report inventory issues promptly to department heads.
• Troubleshoot equipment for the e-Commerce department.
• Provide feedback to management on effectiveness of plans and programs.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Ensure preventative maintenance on all department equipment.
• Supervise and coach direct reports and perform performance reviews.
