Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store e-Commerce Operations Leader in Louisville, KY. This role manages the day-to-day operations of the store's e-Commerce department, staffing, and associates development to achieve sales objectives and budgets.

You will drive customer satisfaction, oversee product flow, scheduling, and adherence to safety and legal standards while executing the company’s core values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Experience in selection and hiring processes preferred.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods; able to stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong leadership skills are essential.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure e-Commerce department meets/exceeds customer expectations for shopping ease, variety, and cleanliness.
• Interview, select, and hire candidates for the on-line department.
• Plan schedules according to guidelines and manage product flow.
• Develop associates to meet productivity standards and complete reviews.
• Ensure legal compliance and food safety procedures are followed.
• Train associates on order selector and customer attendant duties.
• Lead the team in planning and executing e-Commerce initiatives.
• Meet or exceed sales and wage budgets and customer satisfaction targets.
• Analyze competitive landscape and respond accordingly.
• Ensure orders are filled accurately and substitutions are appropriate.
• Streamline order collection, checkout, and delivery processes.
• Report inventory issues promptly to department heads.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce department equipment.
• Provide feedback to management on program effectiveness.
• Report shelf allocation issues to division KOMPASS team.
• Monitor and control department expenses and maintenance.
• Supervise and coach direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Assist with minors and older adults as needed.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
