Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store e-Commerce supervisor to support day-to-day operations in the e-Commerce department. You will help manage order intake, staff assignments, and ensuring accurate labeling for perishable goods, while upholding Kroger values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will act as the on-site leader in the absence of the Store e-Commerce manager, assist with scheduling, and drive process improvements across the division’s

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Self-directed, ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.
• Desired: experience in production or warehouse environments, stocking shelves or cashier roles.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members follow laws, food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities of selectors and customer attendants as needed per guidelines.
• Train all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as person in charge of the e-Commerce department when Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and assign work to staff.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies needed to perform duties.
• Keep staging areas and equipment organized and clean.
• Report discrepancies to store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform opening/closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements from division/enterprise team.
• Provide feedback on daily and annual performance.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced, sometimes stressful environments.
• Manage conflict in a constructive manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
