Job summary

Wurth Industry USA seeks a Buyer – Domestic to manage procurement across domestic commodities, focusing on strategic sourcing, cost management, and supplier performance. You will work with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners to ensure efficient purchasing and fulfilled orders.

The role requires independence in prioritizing demands and contributing to continuous improvement of purchasing processes. Salary starts at 65K and growth opportunities exist within the procurement function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, logistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management.
• Familiarity with forecasting, MRP systems, and end-to-end supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for suppliers within domestic commodities.
• Manage procurement cycle: issue and maintain POs and RFQs; evaluate supplier competitiveness.
• Monitor unconfirmed and past-due POs; resolve delays to ensure supply continuity.
• Oversee inventory transfers between company locations to support operations.
