Job summary

Wurth Industry US in Minnesota is seeking a Buyer - Domestic to lead procurement across assigned commodities, optimize costs, and align with demand planning. You will manage POs, RFQs, and supplier performance while coordinating with logistics and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, logistics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management.
• Familiarity with forecasting, MRP systems, end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Industry experience in distribution, manufacturing, or related environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and Office; SAP or ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for suppliers within assigned domestic commodities and foster vendor relationships.
• Manage full procurement cycle: issue/maintain POs and RFQs; evaluate supplier responsiveness and competitiveness.
• Proactively monitor unconfirmed and past-due POs; resolve delays to ensure continuity of supply.
• Oversee and coordinate inventory transfers between company locations to support operations and customer needs.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to orders, invoices, deliveries, and product quality.
