Würth Industry USA is seeking a Buyer – Domestic to manage procurement for assigned commodities, focusing on strategic sourcing, cost management, and supplier performance. The role requires collaboration with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners to maintain continuity of supply.

Position salary starts at 65K. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in purchasing, solid Excel and SAP experience, and a data-driven approach to decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or logistics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management.
• Familiarity with forecasting, MRP systems, and end‑to‑end supply chain.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or related environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel; SAP or ERP systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary contact for suppliers within assigned domestic commodities.
• Manage full procurement cycle: POs, RFQs, supplier evaluation.
• Monitor unconfirmed and past-due orders; resolve delays.
• Coordinate inventory transfers between company locations.
• Investigate discrepancies in orders, invoices, deliveries, and quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers to adjust shipments based on needs.
• Align purchasing with demand planning and customer orders.
• Develop relationships with alternative suppliers to reduce risk.
• Track costs, lead times, and commodity trends.
• Use market data to improve sourcing strategies and supplier performance.
• Partner with supply chain, operations, and finance to improve processes.
• Support team during peak periods.
• Perform other duties as needed.
