Job summary

Serco Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Construction Engineering Support to join the Team Submarine In-service Program Office, supporting submarine construction, budget, shipyard, and post-delivery testing.

The role requires the ability to obtain a DoW Secret clearance and a technical bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience; you will provide fluid systems engineering and prepare briefs for decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field with minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoW Secret security clearance.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Time management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Ability to multitask and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and fluid systems support to the program office.
• Recommend actions for technical and programmatic issues related to RDT&E.
• Perform planning, cost, schedule, risk, and supportability analyses.
• Develop briefs for decision makers with accurate information.
• Prepare Unclassified and Classified briefs up to Flag level.
• Attend IPT meetings and collaborate with the team.
• Demonstrate teamwork and high performance.
• Plan and accomplish goals with limited experience.
