Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned leader to act as Trusted Adviser to senior Army and National Guard leadership. This role bridges Motorola’s advanced technology portfolio with DoD requirements, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to address LMR, CAD, NG911, and C2 challenges across NGB and Army commands.

The ideal candidate brings a distinguished DoD background, strong procurement insight, and a proven ability to capture large US Army-based procurements, manage budgets, and negotiate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of sales/public safety/military experience or 15+ years combined experience.
• Distinguished DoD background with Army or National Guard at senior rank preferred.
• Experience engaging National Guard Bureau, JFHQ-State, OPMG, BECS, IMCOM, NETCOM and PEO/PMs.
• Proven track record in high-level business development, operational or technical leadership within DoD or security sectors.
• Strong budget and procurement cycle knowledge (PPBE) and funding navigation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain executive relationships at SES and General Officer levels.
• Shape customer understanding of policy, budgeting, and future requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to quantify multi-million dollar opportunities within Army/Guard.
• Articulate Motorola's value and strategic plans to senior Army and Guard leadership.
• Oversee service quotes for Army CONUS Enterprise networks and related CAD/NG911 projects.
