Job summary

Hobart Food Equipment and Service is seeking a District Manager 3 to lead multiple branch operations. You will direct a team of field service technicians and administrative staff, ensuring service revenue growth, profitability, productivity, and high service levels.

The role emphasizes budget stewardship, strategic leadership, and collaboration with Finance, Sales, and Marketing to meet targets while maintaining customer satisfaction. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience and previous management experience is required.
• Experience managing a Profit & Loss statement, cost control, inventory management, KPI metrics, and customer engagement.
• Service/product knowledge for commercial food equipment and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and manage a highly technical field service team.
• Oversee installations, preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and updates; support sales for new systems.
• Establish and grow customer relationships; drive revenue and financial metrics.
• Talent development and succession planning; improve employee retention and engagement.
• Manage budget (6.1–10M), 2–3 cost centers, and 6–10 direct reports; 20–50 span of control.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Marketing to meet targets and service levels.
