Job summary

VOYA is hiring a Leave & Disability Claims Manager to oversee disability and leave claims, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, ERISA, and to lead a team of claims professionals. The role focuses on customer‑centric service and efficient claims processing.

You will partner with HR, legal, and operations, drive continuous improvement, monitor KPIs, and align team goals with the Workplace market strategy to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in disability claims management.
• Supervisory experience in a claims environment (3–5 years).
• Certifications such as CDMP or CCP are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee disability and leave claims administration, ensuring regulatory compliance (FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, ERISA).
• Lead and develop a team of claims professionals to achieve high performance and maintain VOYA culture.
• Evaluate complex claims and provide direction on disability and leave management.
• Deliver exemplary customer service to claimants with timely, accurate communications.
• Develop and adopt claims policies to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with HR, legal, and operations to align claims with regulatory requirements and company goals.
• Monitor KPIs and drive quality assurance, audits, and process improvements.
• Source opportunities for technology and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
