Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a Claims Consultant to support the Voya Leave Management department. You will act as a SME for STD, FMLA, and other leave policies, and serve as a liaison for depositions/arbitrations while driving process improvements.

You will analyze complex disability and leave claims, mentor staff, and maintain SLA adherence. Strong communication and data-analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with leave policies (STD/FMLA/PFL) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in depositions and arbitrations.
• Bridge between legal teams and claims operations.
• Manage complex disability and leave claims with accuracy.
• Mentor claim staff and support development.
• Serve as SME on leave policies and procedures.
• Analyze claim data to identify trends and insights.
• Maintain service levels and support process improvements.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
