Job summary

CPG is seeking a Director of Service Preconstruction & Estimation in Ashburn, VA. This leadership role oversees all estimation activities, sets strategy for bids and proposals, and coordinates across Service, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Legal to deliver on-time, within-budget preconstruction plans.

The position requires 8+ years in data center ops, strong team development skills, and effective communication. Includes site oversight and potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years' experience in data center battery, UPS, HVAC, and service operations.
• Proven ability to establish strategy for estimates and proposals.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (Service, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Legal).

Responsibilities

• Establishes strategy and process for development of estimates and proposals.
• Manage bid, negotiation, and contract award for subcontractors with cross-functional teams.
• Lead and develop Preconstruction team and KPI reporting.
• Mentor and develop team members across levels.
• Ensure training and continuous improvement of Preconstruction management.
