Job summary

CPG Beyond, Inc. is seeking a Director of Service Preconstruction & Estimation in Ashburn, VA.

This senior role leads the preconstruction department, oversees estimates, proposals, and bid strategies, and collaborates with service, engineering, finance, procurement, and legal teams. The position emphasizes building a high-performing team, driving process improvements, and ensuring end-to-end coordination across planning, design, construction, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, electronics, electrical theory or similar discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 8 years’ specific experience in data center battery, UPS, HVAC, and service operations and maintenance contracts.
• PMO depth of experience to project and communications protocols.
• Strong management presence with history of strategic accomplishments & ability to respond to tactical challenges.
• Strong leader with team building and talent development ability.

Responsibilities

• Establishes the strategy and process for the development of estimates and proposals.
• Manage the bid, negotiation, and contract award for subcontractors with cross-functional teams.
• Lead KPI reporting for project deliverables and develop performance metrics.
• Mentor and develop team members at all levels.
• Oversee budgeting and financial reporting for Preconstruction and Service groups.
