Job summary

CPG seeks a Director of Service Preconstruction & Estimation to oversee the Preconstruction department and all estimation activities for the organization. The role leads cross-functional teams including Service, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Legal to develop bids, proposals, and budgets for data center projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, electronics, electrical theory or similar discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of data center battery, UPS, HVAC, and service operations experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; PMO and project controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and process for estimate development and proposals.
• Lead bid, negotiation, and subcontract award processes with cross-functional teams.
• Develop KPIs and report project deliverables to Senior Management.
• Mentor and develop team members; address performance gaps with coaching.
• Ensure training and continuous improvement within Preconstruction management.
• Coordinate with internal teams for RFPs and bid tendering; manage budgets.
