Job summary

CPG Beyond, Inc. seeks a Director of Preconstruction & Estimation for our Ashburn, VA facility.

You will oversee all estimation activities, bid management and subcontractor contracts, while guiding a growing team of professionals in a fast-paced data center environment. The role requires a strong PMO background, excellent negotiation and leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with Construction, Engineering, Finance, Procurement and Legal teams to deliver high-quality proposals and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, electronics, electrical theory or equivalent required.
• At least 8 years’ specific experience in data center design and construction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Adopts and promotes commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Establishes strategy for development of estimates and proposals.
• Manages bid, negotiation, and contract award for subcontractors with cross-functional teams.
• Maintains relationships with Senior Management and develops KPIs for reporting.
• Mentors and develops team synergy across all departments.
• Identifies skill gaps and coaches team members for growth.
• Leads by example with respect and organizational leadership.
• Oversees budgets, contracts and project plans during design/preconstruction.
• collaborates with procurement/legal to develop RFP documents.
• Coordinates end-to-end activities from planning to commissioning.
