Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will collaborate with engineering and business development to support acquisition stakeholders and demonstrate our StreamCaster MANET radios across multi-domain environments.

This role involves up to 50% travel to customer sites and labs, with remote work possible depending on location.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Mansioni

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps, SOF-peculiar communications requirements, and tactical edge network design goals; map operational needs to radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations with network configurations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound via testing and benchmarking.
• Support Business Development by aligning technical needs with strategic priorities.
• Present technical demos tailored to low-signature, resilient, and tactical edge needs of USSOCOM components.
