Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM, to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements and emerging trends. You will work with Engineering and Business Development teams to support USSOCOM acquisition stakeholders across multiple commands.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer/Network Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment like spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Support USSOCOM capability gaps and design goals aligning to radio solutions.
• Lead technical planning, field trials, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to benchmark data and verify architecture feasibility.
• Assist Business Development with technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and end-to-end network testing.
