Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM. This role bridges RF capabilities with customer needs and requires up to 50% travel to field sites, with a 100% remote option depending on location.

You will collaborate with Applications Engineering and Business Development to demonstrate interoperability, low-signature performance, and field readiness of StreamCaster radios across multi-domain environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Network engineering or related C5ISR field.
• 2–5 years in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense tech roles.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communications systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and requirements and map to radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and conduct field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development on technical demos and benchmarks.
• Support alignment with Strategic priorities and customer needs.
• Prepare and present technical demos for USSOCOM and components (USASOC, NAVSPECWARCOM, AFSOC, MARSOC).
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and end-to-end network testing.
• Identify potential partner integrations and test end-to-end architectures.
