Job summary

CAE USA, within the Defense and Security Military Training and Simulation unit, seeks a Business Development Manager II to drive growth with government and military customers. You will identify opportunities, build relationships, analyze budgets, and shape differentiating solutions with cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with capture, program, engineering, strategy, and contracts to develop compelling business cases and customer engagement plans that align with CAE’s objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, national security, international relations, or another applicable field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in business development, capture management, program management, military operations, government acquisition, or the defense industry.
• Ability to identify, qualify, and advance business opportunities within a defense or government-contracting environment.
• Working knowledge of DoD acquisition, budgeting, procurement, and industry pursuit processes.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes business development plans within an assigned customer, mission, market, or capability portfolio.
• Identifies, evaluates, and qualifies new business opportunities aligned with CAE's growth objectives.
• Maintains relationships with government customers, military leaders, acquisition organizations, and industry partners.
• Translates customer priorities into actionable growth strategies, value propositions, and potential solutions.
• Supports capture and proposal activities and participates in color-team reviews.
