Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a Business Development Manager II to drive new business growth within the Defense and Security Military Training and Simulation portfolio. You will identify and qualify opportunities, cultivate customer relationships, analyze market conditions, and help shape differentiated solutions aligned with customer priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, national security, international relations, or another applicable field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in business development, capture management, program management, or related defense/government contracting fields.
• Ability to understand customer missions, budgets, and acquisition processes and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the year.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes business development plans within an assigned customer, mission, market, or capability portfolio.
• Identifies, evaluates, and qualifies new business opportunities aligned with CAE's growth objectives.
• Maintains relationships with government customers, military leaders, and industry partners.
• Develops customer engagement plans, opportunity assessments, and action plans.
• Supports capture and proposal activities with customer insights and competitive intelligence.
