Job summary

CAE USA’s Defense and Security team seeks a Business Development Manager II to drive growth within assigned portfolios, including military training and simulation opportunities.

You will partner with capture, engineering, strategy, and contracts to shape solutions, manage customer relationships, and advance opportunities from qualification to pursuit. This role emphasizes strategic thinking and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in business development or defense industry.
• Ability to translate customer missions into growth strategies.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition and budgeting processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes business development plans for CAE USA’s Defense and Security segment.
• Identifies, qualifies, and advances opportunities with government customers and partners.
• Maintains relationships with military leaders, acquisition organizations, and industry partners.
• Creates customer engagement plans, opportunity assessments, and growth strategies.
• Monitors budgets, requirements, and timelines to shape winning proposals.
• Supports capture and proposal activities, including competitive positioning.
