Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior Business Development / Strategy Leader to drive portfolio and pipeline growth with DoD customers, focusing on Air Force programs and related R&D efforts.

You will oversee the BAP process, lead cross-functional teams, develop capture plans, and shape investment priorities, while building trusted relationships with government and military decision-makers. A security clearance is required or can be pursued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of senior defense business development experience.
• Minimum 10 years’ military experience with operational bomber time.
• Knowledge of DoD and Navy procurement processes.
• Proven track record in winning strategies and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience using Salesforce and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio and pipeline strategy with senior government customers.
• Oversee BAP processes including capture planning and gates.
• Engage customers and translate mission needs into solutions.
• Develop briefs, white papers, and RFI responses.
• Lead multi-functional teams to align incentives and strategies.
• Represent NG at events to strengthen relationships.
• Mentor teams and promote BD best practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
