Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager, Business Development 3 to lead strategy and program development for advanced defense programs, including E-2D and related domains. You will shape enterprise strategy, coordinate across executives, and drive new business opportunities with DoD customers and partners.

The role requires senior BD experience, security clearance, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field with 10 years’ experience.
• Master’s degree in business, engineering, or related field with 7 years.
• PhD in business, engineering, or related field with 4 years.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in business development, strategy, capture management, or program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development for a portfolio of advanced programs, coordinating across multiple teams.
• Manage and grow the opportunity pipeline with DoN, Navy, R&D labs, and adjacent markets.
• Oversee all aspects of the Business Acquisition Process, including growth strategy, qualification, and capture plans.
• Engage with government representatives and leadership to translate mission needs into solutions.
• Convene cross-functional teams to develop mission discriminators and competitive cost solutions.
