Job summary

F5 is seeking an experienced enterprise account manager to own strategic relationships with named accounts and drive revenue. You will articulate F5's cybersecurity and networking solutions to executive stakeholders across large organizations.

The role requires travel up to 50%, coordination with partners, and a mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution to close complex deals. You will forecast accurately and lead cross-functional teams to win.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct work experience in a relevant account management environment.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Primary point-of-contact for major account(s) regardless of geographic location.
• Maintains executive-level contact focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship.
• Sells products or services to and manages relationships with existing national named accounts.
• Responsible for growing and retaining named accounts while ensuring ongoing customer service.
• Identify and qualify long-term and short-term business opportunities and address competitive threats.
• Prepare proposals and presentations, lead negotiations, coordinate decision-making, and close sales professionally.
• Facilitate executive-level relationships between customer, F5 and partners; maintain continuity.
• Understand industry trends, technical developments, and regulations affecting target markets.
• Develop lists of potential customers and follow up on leads to close deals.
• Coordinate account strategy and tactics for sales support teams; forecast sales accurately.
• Maintain detailed account profiles and quarterly reviews.
