Job summary

ABB Inc. is hiring a Senior Customer Account Manager to lead strategic customer accounts, manage order fulfillment, and optimize delivery performance at onsite sites in Mebane, NC or Lancaster, TX. Up to 20% travel domestically and internationally is required.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, factories, logistics, and customers to resolve escalations, improve processes, and deliver actionable insights that support growth and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; engineering focus preferred.
• 8+ years in manufacturing, PM, planning or operations.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; SAP/AMSAP knowledge preferred.
• English proficiency; Spanish a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally; valid passport required.
• Permanent US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic customer accounts and order fulfillment, control backlog and delivery performance.
• Lead cross-functional communication with sales, operations, factories, logistics and customers to drive satisfaction and resolve escalations.
• Drive continuous improvement by coordinating stakeholders to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Oversee post-sales support, claims management, and order execution with timely handling of expedites and issues.
• Monitor account performance through KPI management, forecasting, and executive engagement.
