Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Rental Credit Specialist to analyze creditworthiness and risk across Ryder's Rental, National Rental and FMG customer base, providing value-added analysis and recommended actions.

You will review credit reports and financial statements, determine exposure, coordinate with sales, collections and operations, and ensure proper documentation to support sound credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting or 3 years' equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ years in commercial credit and 2+ years in financial statement analysis preferred.
• Proficient ability to analyze and interpret financial data and trends.

Responsibilities

• Review credit requests for new customers and increases in credit lines with sales teams.
• Assess creditworthiness, determine exposures, and propose action plans to mitigate risk.
• Verify documentation (ACH amendments, deposits, guarantees) and monitor key accounts.
• Communicate with collections, sales, and operations on high-risk accounts.
• Maintain accurate records and respond to inquiries via email and phone.
