Job summary

Stoughton Trailers in Wisconsin is seeking an HR Recruiter to manage corporate salary and skilled trades recruitment, screen applicants, arrange interviews, conduct references, and extend offers. You will help stay compliant with state and federal employment laws while building talent pipelines across communities.

Coordinate with agencies and front desk coverage, participate in orientation, and maintain accurate applicant tracking.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current state and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to identify additional talent pipelines and work to establish them within the communities we work.
• Must always remain professional when around prospective applicants.
• Must have a working understanding of state and federal ADA regulations as relates to recruiting process.
• Must be able to perform each essential function and responsibility of the job satisfactorily in accordance with company productivity and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment of Corporate salary and skilled trades employees using established criteria.
• Review applications and select interviewees based on experience.
• Arrange interviews and perform reference checks.
• Conduct criminal background checks, as appropriate.
• Make employment offers to qualified candidates and respond to status inquiries.
• Organize recruitment events and manage internal offers across locations.
• Coordinate with third party temp agencies and front desk coverage.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the direct manager.
• Stay current with state and federal employment laws and regulations related to hiring.
