Job summary

Stoughton Trailers, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to partner with leaders on workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational design across manufacturing and corporate functions. The role will also lead talent acquisition leadership, mentor managers, analyze workforce trends, and ensure compliance with employment laws while driving engagement and culture.

The position requires 5+ years in HR/Talent Acquisition, strong communication, and proficiency with HRIS/ATS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 5+ years HR and/or Talent Acquisition experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, distribution, or corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and recruitment best practices.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on workforce planning aligned with goals.
• Coach managers on employee relations, performance, engagement, and policies.
• Support organizational design, succession planning, and talent development.
• Analyze workforce metrics to improve retention and productivity.
• Lead investigations on employee relations while ensuring compliance.
• Support change management and organizational transformation projects.
• Identify training and development needs with leadership.
• Drive engagement programs and retention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Promote culture, values, and inclusion initiatives.
• Develop recruiting strategies for hourly, professional, technical, and leadership roles.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to onboarding.
• Build candidate pipelines via referrals, schools, and partnerships.
• Establish recruiting metrics: time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire.
• Partner with managers to forecast workforce needs.
• Oversee recruiting marketing and employer branding.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout hiring.
• Manage staffing agencies and recruiting vendors.
• Develop recruiting processes to improve efficiency.
• Lead onboarding and orientation programs.
