Lexicon Inc in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual aspects of sub-contractor construction contracts and procurement. The role includes contract development, administration, and closeout, with emphasis on claims and dispute resolution.

You will draft and negotiate contracts across disciplines, lead procurement bids, and collaborate with project teams on compliance, schedule, and budget. Weekend and long hours may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in contract management; preferably in capital Projects or construction.
• Construction purchasing experience required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for various construction disciplines, e.g. Piling, civil foundations, structural steel erection, piping, electrical, etc.
• Draft, review, and formalize contract annexes for specific requirements of the construction projects including contractual tools to ensure on time and on budget execution, e.g. Liquidated damages, incentives, equipment performance guarantees, etc.
• Lead the bidding process of construction and equipment procurement including bid leveling, negotiations, and preparing documentation for client approval processes.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Construction Management, legal, and others on contract & procurement related issues.
• Manage change orders, amendments, and close out.
• Routine monitoring of contractor performance ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, etc.
• Manage claims, disputes, and conflict resolution in collaboration with Project Management, Legal, Finance, etc.
• Provide routine reporting on contract status, risk, compliance, etc.
• Various other administrative and clerical duties as assigned related to contract management.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
