Job summary

Lexicon, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual aspects of sub-contractor construction contracts. The role includes contract development, administration, and close-out, with emphasis on compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and project standards.

You will collaborate with project teams, manage change orders, and monitor performance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. A bachelor’s degree and five years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum five years of contract management experience.
• Experience with capital projects or large construction contracts preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for various construction disciplines, e.g. piling, civil foundations, structural steel erection, piping, electrical, etc.
• Draft, review, and formalize contract annexes for specific requirements of the construction projects including contractual tools to ensure on time and on budget execution, e.g. liquidated damages, incentives, etc.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Construction Management, legal, and others on contact related issues.
• Manage change orders, amendments, and close-out.
• Routine monitoring of contractor performance ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, etc.
• Manage chains, disputes, and conflict resolution in collaboration with Project Management, Legal, Finance, etc.
• Provide routine reporting on contract status, risk, compliance, etc.
• Various other administrative and clerical duties as assigned related to contract management.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
