Job summary

Lexicon Inc. is seeking a contract administrator to support construction projects across heavy industrial, commercial, and roadway sectors in Alabama.

You will advise on resource use for process improvements, manage bid packaging and subcontractor onboarding, oversee contract administration, and ensure compliance with company standards. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential; overtime may be required, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Advise on resource use to achieve measurable process improvements.
• Assemble bid packages with scope of work, bidding process, and required construction documents.
• Manage contractor qualification and onboarding processes.
• Create and edit communications with accuracy and appropriate tone.
• Assist Contract Managers in closing out contracts and preparing documents.
• Oversee contract administration to ensure contract document requirements are met and assist in document control.
• Communicate effectively and maintain proactive relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors.
• Ensure company procedures and standards are maintained.
• Attend project meetings to evaluate feedback and changes.
• Overtime may be required; lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
