Job summary

Journey Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across healthcare, commercial, education, government, and industrial markets. You will lead pursuit efforts, build a strong client pipeline, and partner with preconstruction and operations to position Journey Group for winning work.

Required are 10+ years in construction business development or related roles and a bachelor’s degree in CM or business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in healthcare, commercial office, or renovation markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
• Develop and carry out strategic business development plans to meet revenue and growth goals.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Establish and grow relationships with owners, developers, and architects.
• Lead pursuit processes including RFQs and RFPs and define win strategies.
• Partner with Pursuit and Proposal Manager to develop proposals and presentations.
• Participate in client presentations and project interviews.
• Represent Journey Group at industry events and client meetings.
• Maintain pipeline and client data in CRM to support leadership reporting.
