Journey Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth by securing new opportunities and building lasting client relationships across healthcare, commercial, education, government, and industrial markets.

You will lead pursuits, collaborate with leadership and preconstruction teams, and represent Journey at industry events, contributing to a strong pipeline and strategic growth in Sioux Falls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within the construction industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in healthcare, commercial office, or renovation markets preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet revenue goals.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Lead pursuits with RFQs, RFPs, and client interviews.
• Represent Journey at industry events and client meetings.
• Collaborate with Pursuit/Proposal and Preconstruction teams on proposals.
• Maintain accurate CRM data for reporting.
