Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Competitive Intelligence to perform research and analysis supporting corporate strategy initiatives. The role includes project management, presenting insights to management, and developing competitive profiles.

The position emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work across teams. It is remote and primarily within Eastern Time business hours, with a focus on delivering actionable intelligence and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, accounting, finance, engineering, economics.
• Master's degree preferred (MBA, accounting, finance, economics).
• Two (2) years or more of management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required.
• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends.
• Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timely.
• Utilize intelligence from primary and secondary research to develop profiles on key competitors and topics.
• Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation.
• Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant sources of primary and secondary research.
