Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Competitive Intelligence to lead research and analysis for corporate strategy initiatives. The role involves presenting findings to management and supporting sales and marketing efforts through actionable intelligence.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and leadership capabilities, with experience in strategic planning and managing cross-functional projects. This is a remote role requiring ET business hours and offers substantial bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, accounting, finance, engineering, economics.
• Master's degree preferred MBA, accounting, finance, economics.
• Two (2) years or more management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required.
• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends.
• Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timely.
• Utilize intelligence from primary and secondary research to develop and maintain strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated topics.
• Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation.
• Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant sources of primary and secondary research.
